Dr. Eduardo C. Moreno, who has been practicing urology in Lakeland for 30 years, joined Clark & Daughtrey's medical staff on Dec. 4.

Dr. Moreno's arrival gives C&D a new medical specialty to offer its patients. Urology is the 25th specialty available from the clinic.

C&D now has 51 physicians and extenders, at eight locations.

Dr. Moreno is certified by the American Board of Urology. He completed residencies at the University of Miami, the University of Illinois Affiliated Hospitals and Luis Vernaza Hospital in Guayaquil, Ecuador. He received his medical degree from the University of Guayaquil School of Medicine.

Dr. Moreno's office is at Clark & Daughtrey's Southgate campus at 2625 South Florida Ave., Lakeland (Southgate shopping plaza).

Maria G. Orozco, M.D., joined C&D's

Family Medicine team in October.

Dr. Orozco is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. She completed her residency from Texas Tech University. She received her medical degree from Universidad Anahuac in Mexico City, Mexico.

Steven M. Granger, M.D., joined C&D's Obstetrics and Gynecology team in August.

His arrival is something of a homecoming. Born and raised in Lakeland, Dr. Granger, 36, attended local schools and is a graduate of Traviss Technical College, Polk Community College, and the University of South Florida.

He worked for nine years as a certified surgical technologist at Winter Haven Hospital before attending medical school.

Dr. Granger received his medical degree from St. George's University in Grendad, West Indies. He completed his residency training at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia.

He is the fourth member of the Women's Health team at C&D. He joined Dr. Stephen V. Pappachen, who practices Ob/Gyn, and Drs. Luis Enrique Carrillo and Clifton C. Wheeler, who practice gynecology only.

Dr. Granger helps carry on a proud tradition at Clark & Daughtrey, of outstanding obstetric care. One of the founders of C&D -- Dr. Sam Clark -- was known was Lakeland's baby doctor, delivering more than 8,000 babies during his career.
