Established in 1949,
Clark & Daughtrey Medical Group, P.A.,
is one of the oldest and largest
medical practices in central Florida.
The group is made up of 43 physicians (as of December 2007),
working in a broad range of specialties:

Clark & Daughtrey also provides a full scope of radiology services in its
new Radiology suite, which includes a 64-slice CT scanner, MRI, PET/CT,
digital x-ray, ultrasound and bone density scanner.
The medical staff is supported by seven advanced registered nurse practitioners
and a physicians assistant, and approximately 350 employees.
The group is based in Lakeland, Florida, a city of nearly 100,000 people
located midway between Tampa and Orlando.

At the same time, Florida’s best beaches are only an hour away. Metropolitan nightlife, internationally known theme parks and professional sports teams (Tampa Bay Bucaneers, Orlando Magic, Tampa Bay Lightning) are even closer.
Lakeland has one hospital – Lakeland Regional Medical Center -- which is licensed for 850+ beds. It has four intensive care units -- MICU, SICU, CCU, PICU – as well as ten interventional cardiology suites. It is a Level II trauma center.
Quality education is a priority in Polk County, which boasts of five colleges within its borders, including a campus of the University of South Florida. There are ten private and parochial schools, two “magnet” schools and the Harrison School of the Arts.
