Dr. Maria G. Orozco, a family medicine physician, has joined Clark & Daughtrey Medical Group, P.A., and is now seeing patients.

Dr. Orozco’s office is in the group’s primary care center in the Southgate shopping plaza, 2625 S. Florida Ave.

Dr. Orozco is certified by the American Board of Family Practice, and is a member of the Central-American Medical Society.

She did her residency training through Texas Tech University’s El Paso Family Medicine Program, where she earned the outstanding graduating resident award. She received her medical degree, with honors, from Universidad Anahuac in Mexico City, Mexico. She has practiced medicine in Gadsden, Alabama; El Paso, Texas; and Queretaro, Mexico.

She is Clark & Daughtrey’s third family medicine physician, joining Drs. Ivan Diaz and Greto L. Ramos. The group also has 13 internal medicine doctors.

Dr. Orozco, 33, is married to Dr. Salvador Montenegro, an orthopedics/sports medicine physician with Watson Clinic.
